42 BOUND
42
42 is a reference from the Book Series “The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy” In the book some unearthly creatures wanted to know the answer to “Life, the Universe and Everything” so they build this super computer that was capable of finding the answer. After millions of years of waiting the day had come for the computer to give the answer. Yet, to everyones surprise it was an utter disappointment, the answer was “42″ and nothing more. Therefore, 42 is the representation of that ultimate search for truth… Why we are here and how anything came to existence.
Bound
Bound it is such a great word… mainly because of the two nearly opposite meanings or at least diverse meanings. To be “bound up by something” or to be “bound for something”. Hence the inner struggle to find the truth of “42.” We are humbled at the thought of it, yet we still fervently are bound for it and sometimes unwillingly bound to it.

A very unique night for me…. I am not one to usually make connections of what is happening in my life to draw upon some mystical influence… but so far the small but unusually connected things that have happened in the last 4 hours is worth mentioning….
So… I was in a very angst mood today… feeling like things are not as they are “supposed” to be (whatever that means). I was actually experiencing a small bit of depression.
Fast forward to 11pm. Leaving my girlfriends house I stop by at a Quickmart.. to feed my sugar tooth. As I was in there I had this incredible desire to by of all things a lottery ticket. It is important to note that this is my second time to purchase a lottery ticket… the first time was just after the lottery became legal in California… so it was many years ago.
When I was deciding which ticket to buy I was drawn to the megamillions because it had a 42 million dollar jack pot. After I grabbed my Ben and Jerrys and the lotto ticket… I began to reflect on how i would spend the money if by the million to one chance I won.
I first would quit my “day” job. Second I would start making plans on how I could use a portion of the money to help out family, friends, and to promote local organic foods (my passion)
I walked in my door and immediately thought of my website “42Bound” I haven’t even looked at this website for months.. and now all of a sudden.. I felt 42 bound is where I should be.

and then I get an message from 42 million
